With more than three decades of leadership experience in the nonprofit sector, Alicia has dedicated herself to philanthropy as more than just a career – it’s a way of life! She has worked for organizations, large and small, and understands first-hand what the challenges are for organizations regardless of size. (Sometimes the problems just have more zeros!) In 2018 she took her 501(c)3 and higher education experience and moved to the agency-side of the sector. Having been a direct line fundraiser and nonprofit CEO, she brought a unique perspective to the fundraising agencies she helped lead for more than five years. After tiring of battling with private equity investors that just did not understand what a true fundraising partner agency needed to be, she decided to launch Dragonfly Collective knowing that there really is “a better way!”

Let's Move Your Mission Forward

Alicia M. Lifrak, CFRE
CEO and Founder

Alicia takes her key Dragonfly traits to heart and works to employ each of them as needed on any given day. She sees her role as the guiding force for her team and client partners to face challenges, adapt to change and cut through the noise to do the important work that is required of nonprofits (and the agencies that serve them).

While “free time” isn’t a term she throws around loosely, Alicia does make time to travel the world, see live music and consume media content like a pro. Have you seen the show, movie, limited series where…? Well, she probably has (and she would love to talk to you about it)! She has four teenagers, including a set of triplets, a dog and cat, and the most exceptional collection of family and friends that fuels her gratitude each and every day.

Chrissy Umbeck
Senior Account Manager

Chrissy brings more than three decades of direct response experience and nearly 30 years in nonprofit fundraising. She has supported organizations through campaigns that require both precision and heart and has built a reputation for staying steady in complex workflows. Chrissy approaches her work with the resilience and adaptability of a dragonfly. She remains centered during shifting priorities and helps clients feel supported even when many moving pieces are in play.

Outside of work, Chrissy is a proud boy mom to her two grown sons. She also enjoys baking chocolate chip cookies and cheesecake, tending to her summer garden, and being active in her church community. She loves thrillers and live music, and dreams of visiting Italy for the food, wine, and history.

Elsie L. Listrom, CFRE
Fundraising Strategy Consultant

Elsie brings more than five decades of experience in philanthropy. Her leadership spans alumni relations, arts and culture, historical institutions, and senior agency consulting. She has shaped fundraising strategies for dozens of organizations and was honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award from Minnesota State University for her lifelong contributions to the field. Elsie embodies the dragonfly’s gift for transformation. She guides organizations through change with perspective, generosity, and seasoned insight.

Outside of work, Elsie enjoys traveling, gardening, and savoring lefse and tater tot hotdish. She shares life with her partner Dave, grown son, and their three cats. She dreams of visiting Sweden and Norway to explore her heritage.

Her work reflects the spirit of the dragonfly because she’s always learning, adjusting, and moving with intentional flexibility.

In her personal time, Fera writes music, sings in the high school choir, performs in a theatre, and enjoys gaming and reading. She hopes to live in New Zealand one day and is happily surrounded by family, triplet siblings, beloved pets, and her really cool mom, Alicia!

Julie Goodin, CPA
Fractional CFO

Julie brings clarity and structure to Dragonfly’s financial operations. She draws on nearly two decades as a CPA and deep experience supporting nonprofit and corporate environments. She helps teams make confident, data-informed decisions and is known for her calm responsiveness in moments that require agility. Her work mirrors the dragonfly’s instinct for adaptability because she adjusts when needed and stays steady when it matters most.

Outside of work, you might find Julie swimming, putting together jigsaw puzzles, playing card and board games, and watching TV and movies with her family. She loves music ranging from Halestorm to Elton John and dreams of traveling to London, and maybe even owning a Corvette.

Julie Lynch
Senior Account Manager

Julie brings 36 years of experience in direct response and 30 years dedicated specifically to fundraising. She guides complex programs with calm precision and believes deeply in the power of fundraising to change lives. Julie works with adaptability and agility because she embraces change with grace and redirects with purpose when plans shift.

Julie is from a big family, with seven siblings and more cousins than she can count! In her personal time, Julie loves being outdoors, reading suspense novels, watching football, and enjoying grilled salmon. She and her husband have two grown children, and daughter and a son. Her dream is to swim with manatees and she happily claims that water with lemon is the best drink in the world.

Linda Laurent
Production Manager

Linda has spent 40 years in the industry and more than half of that time dedicated to nonprofit and fundraising programs. She is the organizational anchor behind many of Dragonfly’s campaigns and ensures timelines stay tight, production stays smooth, and clients feel supported every step of the way. Linda’s way of working reflects a dragonfly’s grounded adaptability. She navigates changing priorities with ease while staying fully present with the work at hand.

Linda is a proud dog mom to Ruby and Murphy. When she is off the clock, Linda can be found hiking, floating, watching detective shows, or cheering during any sports season. She enjoys pasta and is on a mission to visit every national park in the United States.

She specializes in membership and individual giving, with many past clients in the cultural and performing arts realm. She’s known for her clear thinking, steady guidance, and ability to make complexity feel simple—a fitting dragonfly trait when helping to guide organizations to meet their goals.

Tabetha loves to spend time with her family, including her husband (they’re high school sweethearts), two young kids, and fur-babies Buster Brown & Ellie Mae. Some of her favorite activities include jigsaw puzzles, family movie and game nights, and utilizing her stores of useless knowledge at trivia nights with her friends.

Traci Basden, CFRE
Senior Director of Client Strategy

With more than 30 years in direct response and 25 years focused on fundraising, Traci blends analytical insight with design-minded intuition. She has guided campaigns across nonprofits of all shapes and sizes and helps teams grow revenue with strategies that feel smart and manageable. Like the dragonfly, Traci embodies presence. She centers what matters, finds clarity in complexity, and brings a steady joy to partnerships and team environments.

Outside the office, Traci enjoys watercolor painting, traveling, and hunting for shark teeth. She has been with her other half, Jim, for 20 years, has two grown sons, and is the proud dog mom of Scout the Chorkie. She is also a devoted fan of brick oven pizza, especially the Honeysuckle at Black Drum Brewing in Myrtle Beach.
